This means Turn2Me i-Size R129 has undergone more side impact testing, is compatible with any i-Size approved vehicle, and is designed to keep your little one rearward facing for longer (up to 105cm) since that’s the safest way for them to travel.

What is the difference between Turn2Me R44 and Turn2Me i-Size R129?
There are currently 2 different car seat standards in the EU. R44 (legally known as ECE R44/04) car seats are divided into groups based on weight, with some covering multiple groups. Eventually, R44 car seats will no longer be available for purchase, but these seats are still safe to use. Turn2Me R44 is based on these standards.
Turn2Me i-Size R129 meets the new R129 (legally known as ECE R129) standards. The main differences in these standards are that car seats are based on your child’s height, undergo more side impact testing, and ensure children sit rearward facing until they reach 15 months and 75cm. Additionally, Turn2Me is also i-Size certified, which means it is compatible with any i-Size approved vehicle, reducing the risk of incorrect installation.

How long should I keep my child rearward facing in the Turn2Me i-Size R129 car seat?
Under R129 standards, it is required to keep your little one rear-facing until 15 months and 75cm. We recommend keeping your child rearward facing as long as possible because this seat position will better protect your child's head, neck, and spine in case of impact. For this reason, we advise rearward facing up to 105cm or approximately 4 years of age.
How many recline positions does the Turn2Me i-Size R129 car seat have?
The Turn2Me i-Size R129 360º rotating car seat has 10 total recline positions — 5 in rearward facing and 5 in forward facing. This means your child's head and neck will always be properly supported.
Can I machine wash Turn2Me i-Size R129’s seat covers?
Yes, you can wash the covers in your washing machine with cold water only on the delicate cycle. Drip dry, and do not use bleach.
What is the maximum height and age for Turn2Me i-Size R129?

To wash the covers: machine wash in cold water only on delicate cycle 30 degrees and drip dry. Do not use bleach.
Inspect and clean harness buckle from time to time to remove any objects or debris that could prevent correct installation.
Metal and plastic parts: clean with mild soap and cool water. No bleach or detergents.
To clean the harness straps: surface wash only with mild soap and a damp cloth. Do not immerse the harness straps in water, doing so may weaken the straps.
